While visiting a friend this week, i noted crocuses in her garden. "don't they come out in the spring?" i enquired. She laughed and said they were winter crocuses but that they had come up early. I smiled to think that we plant bulbs etc knowing when they will flower and then nature goes a head and does whatever she pleases. Regardless though, they are very pretty.
