summer fete

I am co-organising a local end of Summer Fete on the 28th of August.
Tea on the Lawn has all the usual fete stalls and attractions inc raffle, tombola, face painting, hook a duck, teas and burgers, bouncy castle, cake and candy, and a book stall. However the added feature of our fete is a Craft Market. Many local makers/artisans will be there.
Pop over to the blog to see them featured.

My 11 year old niece and i just watched Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr Fox.
I was a little skeptical as to how Roald Dahl's beloved story would turned out especially since it was voiced by American, not British actors, even if they were heavy weights like Meryl Streep and George Clooney.
However i have to eat my words, The Fantastic Mr Fox was...
Fantastic, extraordinary, remarkable, impressive, outstanding, superb and generally dazzling.
We loved the beautiful stop frame animation and our most favourite bit was Jarvis Cocker singing Petey's Song right about the middle.
If you get the chance we heartily recommend it!

But better still, read the book : )
