Oh dear it is Fingerprint Friday again and i am a wee bit late in blogging today. It is 4.15pm here in the UK and i seem to have spent the day chasing my tale so it seems appropriate that i should pause to look at God's fingerprints all around me. This week i thought i would share with you all the wee signs of Spring that are popping up all over the place here in Scotland.
(Be sure to visit Pampering Becki's blog to view all Fingerprint  Friday participants)

Just thought i would share with you a couple of my latest charity shop finds.
Both from the 70's i think (?).        The cape was just too gorgeous to resist. I love the bright green pattern. And even although i do not drink coffee, still i can use the coffee pot as a tea pot can't I?

The Conservatory Overcoat GIVEAWAY!!!!

This has to be one of the loveliest giveaways i've ever seen!
For your chance to win this pretty red overcoat, visit this link to find out more. (check out the great photographs  as well : )
Shopping List Saturday.
Sometimes i like to type a random word into the etsy search bar, see what comes up and then start investigating other shops etc to see where it leads, (it is quite alarming how much time i spend doing this, no really!!!). Anyway, this weeks words is hope and from it i made my shopping list. hope you enjoy!

Fingerprint Friday
Now, i know this is not a particularily great photograph (it was taken while crossing the Tay Road bridge) but, travleing home yesterday the sun reflected on the river, coupled with the cloud patterns in the sky, looked just glorious!

Shopping List Saturday
This is my first Shopping list Saturday here on my blog, (goodness knows i have spent many Saturdays compiling shopping lists in the non blogging world: ) Since it is the 14th i thought it should be a wee bit heart themed.
For more of these shopping lists do go to Charlotte's blog to find the complete list of those participating.

This is my fingerprint Friday shot. It is taken at the Tay estuary. I never fail to be amazed at the miles and miles of mud flats exposed when the tides recedes and i love looking at the patterns it leaves behind.
Thanks to The mum and the Rose for her inspirational Fingerprint Friday shots (well worth a wee look), although i think Becki at Pamperingbeki was the originator.

For those of you, who like me, love theatre and particularly musical theatre, i thought i might share with you some of the drawings i did recently while watching Wicked at the Gershwin theatre earlier in January. Now before you are too critical do remember that i was sitting in near darkness trying very hard not to get caught singing along (badly).
If you get the chance to see it i heartily recommend it. It was wonderful!

Friday 6 February 2009

For me, one of  the loveliest things about Etsy is the array of truly wonderful people I've met. Before i began blogging and selling prints online i was , i'll admit, a little skeptical  about building friendship with out face to face contact. I mean, I am so visually orientated that things like reading another persons body language etc is vital in the way i interact with other people.
But here i am nearly two years later and i can honestly say that i have met such great people and established real  friendships with more than just a few!
Two such people are Kristin from Loveartworks, who is a gentle, happy soul whose ceramics one cannot help but be touched by and the marvelous Phillipa from Feltathome whose talent seems to know no bounds. (check out the lovely poetry reels.)
Both of whom I just traded prints with for these lovely items.

And as for the rest of you, Raina, Helen, Alison et al,
you know who you are ; )
