For me, one of the loveliest things about Etsy is the array of truly wonderful people I've met. Before i began blogging and selling prints online i was , i'll admit, a little skeptical about building friendship with out face to face contact. I mean, I am so visually orientated that things like reading another persons body language etc is vital in the way i interact with other people.
But here i am nearly two years later and i can honestly say that i have met such great people and established real friendships with more than just a few!
Two such people are Kristin from Loveartworks, who is a gentle, happy soul whose ceramics one cannot help but be touched by and the marvelous Phillipa from Feltathome whose talent seems to know no bounds. (check out the lovely poetry reels.)
Both of whom I just traded prints with for these lovely items.
And as for the rest of you, Raina, Helen, Alison et al,
you know who you are ; )

aw...how lovely are you!
My house will one day be a gallery of your work......xx
It is true..So many wonderful people we would have missed out on meeting, had we not blogged..
I will write myself a note to remind you on Thursday, for Fingerprint Friday. Hey, I am not sure, but do you do shadow shot Sunday with Hey Harriet? Another fun time..I cheat by dragging things around, but they are use to me...ha, ha..
First I have to say that I love your work and can't wait to check out the post on how you make it! Second, I think I fell in love with Loveartworks pottery - it's gorgeous! Felt-at-home has been an old favorite of mine already.
Third, thank you for featuring my card in your blog 'cause that's the way I found your beautiful store & blog. Happy weekend to you! :)
Yeah I'm surprised by the many lovely people I've met through Etsy & blogging. Certainly wasn't expecting to 'meet' people. It's been fun & I've discovered so much cool stuff (including your awesome blog & artwork!) I see a blogging buddy above in the comments. Rosebud is a real sweetie. And yes she does cheat ;) She's very entertaining though :)
Aw this is sweet!
I noticed your Wicked banner, I love it too!!!!!!!
I'm liking this trading idea....
Anyway, I'm so pleased you'd like to join in with the Shopping List! I'll contact you via Etsy.
Did you see that Phillipa joined in this weekend? I'm SO with you about her poetry reels. Heartbreaking and gorgeous, aren't they?
Speak soon.
xx
