I met this little chap in a friends garden the other day and although i know that he has a tendency to munch his way through some of the  leafy plants in the garden I could not help but think ... all creatures great and small.     : )

Awww, so tiny and amazing! We have some fascinating guests in our yard too - my favorites are the little lizards that zip across the porch and sidewalk when we go in and out. I've tried and tried to get a photo of one but they zip away too quickly.

Did you know snakes can FLY? A black snake scared me to death about a week ago. I was coming up our sidewalk from the car to the house, and I guess I scared HIM. He came FLYING out of one of the bushes next to the house, went across the sidewalk in MIDAIR about 5 feet in front of me, and landed in an azalea bush on the other side of the sidewalk, then shimmied off into the grass. Wow! I never saw anything like that before. I screamed, and my husband wondered what in the world? but black snakes don't hurt you, thankfully.

such a sweet snail! I love your veiw on it's munching! I have a rabbit munching my new tomato plants in my garden. I think I need to go buy some extras so we all will have a chance at them LOL, I can't think of taking away a food sourse by fencing it, I think he would outsmart me anyways.
Great post!

And then you poured salt on him or chucked him into your neighbors yard, right?

Hehe.

My boys could stare at snails for hours! And it will have only moved an inch!

Snails, bane of the garden, are cute little creatures when wearing their shells. I rarely see them that way. Great post!

Very cute, I'd much rather see snails in my garden than slugs, but you're right God made them all!

It's nice to see this cute little guy in YOUR garden...lol! Isn't it funny how differently I might feel about him munching on my veggies. Thanks for helping me see him through God's eyes!
