During the winter months my friend and i meet at my mum's house for a very small knitting group where in we knit, (badly in my case), chat and eat cake. Yesterday was the first meeting since the spring and it was such good fun. We laughed a lot. Sometimes routine can be monotonous but at other times it's good to have something to look forward to, even if it is just simple laughter. (also cake!)

It's always fun to get together with friends especially when food is involved! The cake looks scrumptious.
Mmmm, cake! I am hungry right now. I have been stocking up for Christmas on Etsy...I hate it because everything I buy I need to get two of cause I just can't bring myself to give what I buy away! Sigh!
