Fingerprint Friday

The lavender that i planted some three years ago has gone a wee bit wild and is taking over part of the path. I having been saying all year that i must get round to tying it up, needless to say i never have. However God must have known what he was doing since every time i walk down the path i brush against the over hanging lavender and the beautiful scent is released. Now, had i tied it back, as i had intended, i would not smile every time i pass.

I finally replaced the tatty, battered paper bag i had been using to store my ribbons in with some shiny new Kilner jars. as you can see there is some semblance of colour co-ordination but how long it will stay like this is unsure.

Fingerprint Friday

Good morning all!

It is a truly glorious morning here, the sun is shining with all his might and has been all week. To that end i have been able to keep the back door open  while i'm in the house but that does mean that there are lots of flying beasties coming for a visit. These are two species of butterfly i have very carefully caught and released back outside. A Lesser White Butterfly  and a Peacock Butterfly. I could not help but feel how beautiful and diverse they both were. A sign of His creation, surely.
