Fingerprint Friday

This is a Bottlebrush tree (Callistemon citrinus)  it is endemic to Australia. This one however,  is growing in a corner of my garden, my gardener friend assures me it should not survive the cold winters here in Scotland and is puzzled as to how it manages, ( it was here when i moved in to the house so i do not know anything of where it came from). It makes me smile though, to think that although we think we know so much, clearly God has different ideas on how and where his creations will thrive.

There is a competition running in conjunction with a group on Flickr and the Tate Liverpool Art Gallery. You are invited  to contribute your own colour monochrome photographs to this group. (A colour monochrome is an image of one colour only ) Photographs submitted to the group will be shown on Tate Online, and a 36 images will be used to make a glossy Colour Chart poster which will hang in the gallery

These are my submissions, why not pop over to the colourchart group on Flickr and view the entire selsction and perhaps add some of your own?

fingerprint Friday

Lots of thunderstorms with me this week which always leaves the sky looking rather wonderful. Can you see with this picture there is almost, nearly, kind of, perhaps, a love heart in the sky? (behind the clock tower and the chimney).
